National Doctor’s Day is on March 30th, 2022. It is a day that honors the professionals for what they do and their dedication to it. It is an entire day meant as a big “thank you” to those who take care of our communities in all medical fields. The first Doctor’s Day was observed in 1933 in Winder, Georgia. Dr. Charles B. Almond’s wife wanted a day to honor her husband and those in his profession Greeting cards were sent from around the community and red carnations were placed on the graves of deceased doctors. The red carnation still holds its place as the symbolic flower today. It wasn’t until 1991, when President George H.W.
